I keep thinking of the pioneers crossing the plains and leaving everyone and most of their possessions behind. I thought it was tough to leave family, friends, animals, home and all the things I love. At least I’m coming home in a year, they were tough people. I did bring some things to remind me of home and make me feel better about being gone.

  1. So Ann!!! Love the 'Bossy' quote! Also, I never saw your flag quilt finished. IT turned out wonderful! I think about that alot, what the pioneers gave up to come to Zion. I also think alot about how I am such a whiner when I think of them! Hope all is going well on your adventure. Love you cutie! And soooo proud of you two. xoxox

  2. They gave up so much, knowing they would never see any of it again. Yea, I think we can all be in the whiner category. Stay well!

  5. I recognize your kitty napkin holder. If you got it from John and Delone, they had me paint the faces on them. I have one sitting on my back porch.... Love the quilt!
